3.1 Businesses may create listings to showcase their services.
3.2 You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your listing content.
3.3 By submitting a listing, you grant Glowbooks a non-exclusive licence to display, format, and promote your listing, including images, logos, and business information.
3.4 Glowbooks does not guarantee bookings, enquiries, clients, visibility, or earnings.
Glowbooks may publish basic business listings using information that is already publicly available online, including but not limited to:
business name, address, contact details, website links, opening hours, and service categories.
This does not create a partnership, endorsement, or business relationship.
If you wish to claim, update, or remove a listing, you may request this at any time by contacting:
support@glowbooks.co.uk
Glowbooks reserves the right to edit, categorise, format, re-structure, or reorganise listings to maintain platform quality, usability, and consistency.
This includes changes to categories, locations, layout, and presentation.
4.1 When claiming or managing a business listing, Glowbooks may request reasonable proof of ownership or authorisation.
4.2 This may include business email verification, documentation, website ownership, or social media verification.
4.3 Glowbooks may refuse, suspend, or remove listings where ownership cannot be verified or fraudulent activity is suspected.
5.1 Glowbooks offers free and paid subscription plans.
5.2 Payments are processed securely via third-party providers (e.g. Stripe).
5.3 Subscription fees are non-refundable, except where required by UK law.
5.4 Paid features remain active only while the subscription is valid.
5.5 Businesses keep 100% of their client payments as Glowbooks does not take commission.
6.1 Clients may browse and contact or enquire with businesses through the website.
6.2 Glowbooks is not responsible for:
The quality of services provided by businesses
Cancellations or disputes
Misrepresentation by businesses
Any agreements made between clients and businesses
All transactions and arrangements are strictly between the client and the business.
7.1 All website content (excluding business-submitted content), including design, branding, layout, text, and images, is owned by Glowbooks.
7.2 You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute content without permission.
7.3 Businesses retain ownership of their submitted content but grant Glowbooks the right to display it on the platform.
8.1 Glowbooks is provided on an “as is” basis.
8.2 We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8.3 Glowbooks is not liable for:
Loss of revenue or profits
Reputational damage
Booking or enquiry losses
Disputes between clients and businesses
Third-party service failures
Use of the platform is entirely at your own risk.
9.1 Glowbooks may suspend or terminate accounts for breaches of these Terms or fraudulent activity.
9.2 You may delete your account at any time.
9.3 If we remove a listing for breach, paid subscriptions may not be refunded.
Businesses may request removal of their listing at any time.
Glowbooks will process legitimate requests promptly.
Your use of Glowbooks is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how data is collected and used.
12.1 Glowbooks may update these Terms when necessary.
12.2 Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised “Effective Date”.
12.3 Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of UK courts.
